Over the next few weeks, I’m doing a blog tour (series of guest posts at other people’s blogs) for my upcoming M/M novella Homespun. (Here’s my list of stops on the blog tour bus!) I’ll be starting on Sept. 16 and going ’til Oct. 8.
During the blog tour, I’m giving away a prize that’s a little unusual. The main characters in Homespun own a sheep farm, and part of the plot involves yarn crafting. Since I love knitting and crocheting myself, I though it would be a lot of fun to do a giveaway for a custom handmade scarf. Enter to win by commenting on any of my blog tour posts (or here at Layla M. Wier) between now and Oct. 8.
These are recent scarves I’ve knitted/crocheted for illustration only — yours will probably look different! 🙂 I can make you a light, lacy fashion scarf or a warm, cozy wool scarf — whatever is best suited to your climate and your personal fashion tastes. You pick the color and type of yarn (I’ll help!), and I’ll knit it for you and mail it to you anywhere in the world before the end of the year.
This could also be a great gift for someone else. If you want it for Christmas or another special occasion I’ll make sure to get it in the mail in time for the winter holidays.
Note: This scarf will be knit in a smoke-free household that contains pets (dogs and a cat). I will wash your scarf before sending it to you, but I can’t guarantee that it will be completely allergen free. If pet allergies are a dealbreaker, I can work with you to come up with an alternate, equally cool prize if you win!
